My client is looking for a Business Analyst who can work within a multi-disciplined Agile software development team to ensure that business and system requirements are identified, defined and realized by the Development team.
This role will require you too:
· Analyse complex business and IT problems
· Work with business stakeholders and customer representatives to determine and define business and system requirements at each stage of the project lifecycle.
· Elicit requirements utilizing differing approaches as required
· Articulate requirements as well constructed user stories.
· Work with colleagues, business stakeholders and contacts to investigate and model business functions, processes, information flows and data structures, using methodical and consistent techniques.
· Assist in the analysis of the underlying issues arising from investigations into requirements and problems, and identify available options for consideration.
· Ensure acceptance criteria are defined, understood and realized for each item of scope.
· Document all work using the required standards, methods and tools.
· Arrange, prepares and take part in meetings with commercial representatives and present issues and solutions both orally and in writing.
· Assist in defining, planning and justifying projects.
· Assist clients/users in defining acceptance tests for systems, in a thorough and reliable manner.
· Communicate and escalate risks and issues as required to the Project Manager.
· Review organisational designs and support business change activities.
· Adhere to quality assurance standards and quality management methods.
Skills and experience required:
· Strong core analysis process knowledge including significant experience in Agile methods (particularly User Stories).
· Proven ability to manage the full extent of project requirements, through all stages of project lifecycle.
· Demonstrable experience of requirements management governance processes.
· Experience of working in a Web development environment.
· Ability to elicit requirements via multiple means and to determine their appropriateness to a given situation
· Ability to manage more than one complex project in parallel.
· Strong risk, issues and dependencies management experience.
· Strong working knowledge of testing and other quality assurance processes
· Experience in a variety of commercial and IT environments
· Demonstrable experience of working within the agile development environment.
