As the Service and Storage Team Leader you will have responsibility for the technical and supervisory lead for a team of Lead Analysts, Senior Analysts and/or Analysts and as a team is responsible for the effective provision of IT infrastructure.This incorporates deployment of servers in both the Data Centre and other locations (Wickes Stores) irrespective of the operating system.You will be responsible for: Facilitating testing that enables changes to operating systems; working with the infrastructure design team on capacity planning and monitoring; providing 3rd line support; managing and installing major changes; upgrading and implementing operating systems; implementing support applications (e.g. Anti Virus); data storage; monitoring use of service, amongst others.Essential skills:Substantial experience in managing and testing change.Extensive supervisory experience leading and developing a Support team.Use of incident and problem management software.Experience in developing and deploying automatic software release processes.Use of software licencing and auditing toolsProject ManagementExperiences in organisations with CITRIX based deployments![]()
