My client is currently offering one of the best opportunities in Yorkshire for a passionate Test Coordinator. You will need a solid background in commercial testing from a role of a similar nature. You will be required to carry out end-to-end testing within a range of projects throughout the entire lifecycle.
This will involve identifying test scenarios using functional specifications to gain the necessary information required. A key element of the role is to ensure that high quality and thorough testing is carried out and ensuring defect when found are formally raised and retested once fixed. You will have proven experience in Software Testing and an ISEB qualification would be desirable.
You will be an experienced manual tester able to create and maintain detailed test cases. One of the most important elements in a 'new recruit' for my client is that you have a very strong team ethic. You will be coming on board as a mentor to 2 testers so it is very important that you are willing to share your knowledge and help them identify areas of improvement.
ESSENTIAL:
- Strong testing experience - planning, preparing, running and completing process based testing activities

- Experience of IT development projects - waterfall & agile
- Persona - diligent, focussed, intuitive, humble, assertive
- FS/ Life & Pensions sector experience highly desirable
- ISEB Foundation - testing
