Chief Operations Director (1 year fixed term) - West Midlands - up to £60,000 + benefits
This rapidly innovating, higher education institution in the West Midlands has an urgent need for a Chief Operations Director to work in partnership with the IT Director on a 1 year fixed term basis.
You will be responsible for leading the IT "Section Heads" and their teams in the delivery of operational services, policy development and implementation, and project planning.
This organisation are about to embark on a period of large business and technology transformation, and so as Chief Operations Director, you will help in the management of this change.

· Demonstrable evidence of leading the operational side of an IT department
· Experience delivering reliable infrastructure e.g. managed storage, servers, telephony etc.
· Proven experience of direct line management and staff development
