Testing Manager - Warwickshire - Attractive Package. A Test Manager is required for an organisation based in Warwickshire. This organisation is looking for a pro-active Leader, who will manage a team as well as be part of the Global management of the function. As such, you will need to be a self-starter, decisive, embrace and champion change and have a proven track record of successful team management. You will develop the IT test strategy, create a schedule of test plans and improve the overall level of quality in products released to the business. With a large software development function and very many concurrent projects, you will be accountable for the quality of all software released. The ideal candidate will therefore have experience in large, complex environments as you will have to deal with conflicting pressures and demands for resource. You will be accountable for ensuring compliance to corporate standards, as well as Vendor selection to meet those standards. You will also develop and maintain strong working relationships with project teams, including project managers and technical experts. You will also coach members of the IT function (outside testing) in terms of best practice and risk mitigation. You will also establish good links with the business and demonstrate that you are able to communicate effectively at all levels, within the business as well as IT. Formal training (ISQTB / ISEB) is desirable but not essential.
