Our Prestigous Client based in the centre of Birmingham is currently looking for a permanent Systems Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. You will take ownership for a large Windows and Citrix Application Server environment providing administration, upgrades and monitoring to ensure optimum performance. It will also be your role to improve efficiency by automating processes, implementing new solutions and designing and managing configurations to the production environment.
Technical Skills:
- Microsoft System administration and configuration
- Windows Server 2003 and 2008
- Administration of Citrix and Terminal Server Environments
- Familiarity of some of the following: PowerShell, ASP, VBS, CMD Scripts, HTM, XML and Internet technologies
- Good Scripting Skills would be beneficial but not essential
- Automation and Production Monitoring skills would also be a bonus
Due to the nature of the role you will need to have excellent organisational skills and bee able to manage your own workload effectively.
In return you will be rewarded with a salary of £45,000-55,000 + a very competitive bonus + benefits package
