Systems Coordinator - Pangbourne
My client a leading Oil & Gas company based in Pangbourne are looking for a Systems Coordinator to join their team.
The role of the Systems Coordinator is primarily to manage and support the delivery of IT&S projects in line with the IT&S strategy.
The successful candidate will be expected to manage projects from start to finish covering activities such as end user engagement, specification development, coordination of 3rd party suppliers, communication, training and deployment, and budget management.
The role will focus on the enhancement of two web-based systems used globally in FPT for Project Management (TMS) and Knowledge Management (KMS). TMS is a custom-built tool whereas KMS is based on Microsoft SharePoint 2010.
The Systems Coordinator will be required to work closely with the Knowledge and Systems Coordinator to manage delivery of the overall Business Services IT&S objectives.
Key accountabilities
· Support the Business Services Manager in the delivery of IT&S projects.
· Engage end users throughout the FPT community to identify system requirements and ensure global alignment
· Develop system specifications based on user requirements and strategic objectives
· Work with third parties service providers to execute changes to system design and coding, based on specifications.
· Lead end user acceptance testing
· Produce communication and training materials
· Lead rollout to end user community and deliver training
· Manage overall project within agreed timelines and budget
· Provide ongoing system support
· Support the Business Services Team and wider Strategy & Transformation team in delivery of its core objectives.
Essential
Education
· Degree or equivalent
Essential experience and job requirements
The candidate should
· Have a proven track record of project management and delivery, preferably in the Information Technology space.
· Be a skilled user of Microsoft Sharepoint 2010 and proficient in the use/administration of web based applications.
· Demonstrate impactful communication and influencing skills and be able to build relationships based on trust and respect
· Strive for excellence in execution and look for opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce complexity
· Facilitate effective teamwork and build collaborative relationships across internal and external boundaries
Travel required Yes - up to 10% - potentially for training at other sites
