VB.Net / ASP.Net Developer

Job Responsibilities
·To design specifications in line with the business needs.
·To develop and deliver quality software to the required specification liaising with other team leaders on a regular basis to ensure that the most efficient use is made of the available resource in delivering quality product within a specified time scale.
·To work as part of a team and individually on projects
·To provide support to the existing application including bug fixes and contact with clients
·To create scaleable, robust and, where possible, reusable code
·To report to management issues as and when they arise in a suitable and timely manner
·To specify new work and gather requirements from clients when required.

Skills Required
·Good knowledge of software development and surrounding industry
·Proficient in relevant development languages/tools/environments, including experience in use of most of the following
·Visual Studio 2003, 2010
·.NET 1.1 and .Net 4 (VB and ASP .Net)
·SQLServer 2005 / 2008 / 2012
·XML
·Webservices
·HTML,XHTML
·Experience of working in a team also on own initiative
·Good understanding of web best practice and processes.
·Good attention to detail

·Some knowledge and experience of the following languages/ tools is also preferred but not essential
