Application Support Engineer - Financial

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Application Support Engineer to join a global Financial Institution in central London.

The Application Support Engineer will preferably come from a Financial / Professional Services background and will require previous Application Support experience supporting Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server 2008, SharePoint, IIS, ASP.Net & SQL Server 2008.

The Application Support Engineer will also be required to work closely with 3rd party vendors so previous experience doing this is essential.

Application Support Engineers who wish to be considered for this position must display the following skills & expertise:

* Previous experience in an Application Support type role
* Previous experience working with the Financial / Professional Services Industry
* Solid knowledge of SQL Server 2008 (Database development & administration)
* Good experience with ASP.Net 4.0
* Knowledge of Windows Server 2008
* Experience with SharePoint & IIS
* ITIL Certified - Beneficial
