My client are a global organisation with its HQ based in the Channel Islands. We are currently searching for a technical engineer to work for them on a full time basis in the Cayman Islands. As a key member of the Cayman team this individual will provide the primary technical resource to the sales team in conjunction with the service delivery teams. You will be responsible for actively driving and managing the service evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team and professional services team as the key local technical advisor and product advocate for our products and services. The successful candidate will are also responsible, in conjunction with the professional services team, for the design of solutions utilising the full cloud, online backup and associated infrastructure services to meet customer requirements. To be considered for this role you will have strong all round technical skills, particularly in the area of email, antivirus, archiving, virtualisation, cloud, network, and Microsoft products (both Server, active directory and Desktop). You will also be able to identify all technical issues of accounts that they are working with to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process, and must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.This role will be permanently based in the Cayman Islands and as a result will be subject to Cayman tax rates.
