Test Analyst

My financial services client based in Nottinghamshire is looking for a an experienced Test Analyst to join their Platforms & Technology Department on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be expected to ensure that products are thoroughly tested and high quality results are delivered to the organisation.

The successful candidate will report into the Test Team Leader and their day to day responsibilities will involve interaction with colleagues across Platforms & Technology and the wider business.

If successful you will work in a team of 6-10 individuals within the Test Team.

Skillset required:

· Knowledge of software development life cycle· Experience of formal testing methods such as Agile and Waterfall

· Experience of testing Windows-based and Web applications
· Systematic approach to problem solving and workload
· Exceptional attention to detail and documentation of testing and results
· Ability to communicate both technical and non-technical information
· Able to establish credibility with customers
· Adaptable and results-oriented
· A self-motivated and driven individual
· Experience of SQL
· Genuine interest in software quality.

Desirable skillset:
· Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
· ISTQB Foundation
· Knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation Server & Microsoft Test Manager
· Experience in incorporating automated tests to the test lifecycle
