My client is looking for an experienced Head of Procurement to be an adviser on all strategic and operational procurement matters and act as the organisations subject matter expert. To liaise with Senior members of staff across the organisation to fully understand their requirements and advise and support where necessary. Other responsibilities would include to lead the corporate procurement function and develop and manage a small procurement team, to develop, implement and review all procurement strategies and processes and make recommendations for improvements and provide user training and workshops to develop staffs knowledge and understanding of procurement policies and procedures. Applicants are required to have a strong background in Procurement and be member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply is essential. Applicants are also required to have strong leadership and management experience and strong stakeholder management experience.
