iOS / iPad developer

My media client is looking to secure an established contractor for a 6 month contract, based in London.

The primary skill set required is iOS development, to work on a iPad project. Prior experince in this is a must.

Qualifications
* Proven experience working as an iOS Software Engineer.
* Strong experience in developing apps for Apple iOS including iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch.
* Experience of commercial application development and visibility on the App Store.
* Degree in Computer Science and some experience of working in a creative and/or agency environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities
* Understand the context of work in the scope of a project and actively find effective, efficient and innovative solutions.
* Use a component-oriented approach to application design and development.
* Apply meticulous testing patterns (unit and integration) to all projects.
* Follow object-oriented design principles, patterns and best practices at all times.
* Demonstrate excellent memory management skills and solid coding practices, including good design documentation, unit testing, peer code review and agile development.
* Able to work in a fast paced and test-driven, collaborative and iterative programming environment.
