Project Manager / Project Coordinator, Central Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Harvey Nash is working closely with a forward thinking & technology driven organisation based in Central Leeds. This client is looking for a proven Project Manager / Project Coordinator. This small and close-knit organisation produces high quality software solutions and has a modern and contemporary vibe within its culture.
This is an extremely client facing role therefore you must be a confident communicator (written & verbal). You will be required meet with clients to understand the scope of their requirements, timescales, budget and expectations. You will produce, agree and maintain project plans for all client engagements, whilst also running regular update meetings. You will liaise with developers to ensure client requirements are being met. Therefore, if you are technically minded, have an IT related degree or have some IT experience that will be extremely beneficial but not essential. You will also be responsible for performing post project reviews and documentation. You will be forward thinking and able to identify and resolve issues before they hinder successful project delivery. The successful candidate will perform general account management for existing clients and ensure that clients are getting most of the product. There will also be a training element to your role therefore you will enjoy sharing knowledge and guiding others.
The successful candidate will be organised and have fantastic interpersonal skills. You will be able to manage competing priorities and manage expectations accordingly. You may have a Prince 2 qualification but this is not essential. You may also have worked in an Agile environment before but again this is not imperative.
Due to the face to face client interaction in this role you will be required to travel typically 3 days per week depending upon projects & customer demand. A car allowance is included in addition to the base salary.
