Business Objects Business Analyst - BO, Solutions Architect, Business Objects, SAP, BI, BW, SQL, Data Modelling, Dolfin
My Client, a leading Oil and Gas organisation is seeking a Business Objects Business Analyst. The role of the BO Business Analyst will be to drive a programme of continuous improvement to this the landscape, in terms of its efficiency, effectiveness and consistency ("one truth”).
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan and manage the delivery of global MI enhancement projects involving both people-process and system change elements.
· Critically and objectively understand relevant business situations in depth to identify and define improvement opportunities.
· Understand business requirements and proposals, analyse and challenge to ensure the right MI changes are delivered.
· Identify and specify enhancements to MI systems that enable business objectives to be met.
· Work with IT&S to commission, deliver and assure the quality of specified enhancements to AIME’s MI systems, including Dolfin, BIGS and various SAP BPC applications.
· Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to ensure effective implementation and management of change for new MI processes.
· Support the LBM forecasting process and associated systems e.g. IFS
· Administer the Dolfin Business Objects environment
· Design and build Business Objects universes collaboratively with business stakeholders to enable them to be self-sufficient in the correct use of their data.

· Ability to build and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders
· Demonstrable track record of implementing process transformation
BI SOLUTION ARCHITECT
· Proven track record of solving complex problems
· Data Modelling (3NF and Star Schema)
· Expert SQL skills
· BI Process Design
TECHNICAL SKILLS
· Expert Business Objects
· Oracle SQL
Desirable Skills:
BUSINESS & TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
· Data Warehouse Design & Architecture
· Understanding of performance management processes and systems (GFO, etc.)
· Understanding of related financial systems landscape (ECCS, etc.)
· MS Excel and Visual Basic
Education:
· University Level or equivalent IT qualification
