Drupal Project Manager
Project Manager for approximately 4 months to manage the development and implementation of a new corporate Intranet to be developed using Drupal.
Background
To develop a new Intranet using the open source CMS, Drupal. A project was initiated to deliver the new Intranet. As there is no in-house knowledge or experience of Drupal it was decided to contact with a 3rd party who would have responsibilities for the following elements of the project:
* Design of the Intranet including UX
* Development of the Intranet in Drupal, working with staff and cross training during the development process. The development company will be responsible for ensuring that the Intranet meets the design specification.
* Delivering formal training to ICT staff in the necessary Drupal / PHP / mySQL skills needed to maintain and develop the Intranet.
In order to deliver the project we have also decided that we need to contact a project manager with the necessary knowledge, experience and skills to manage the intranet project.
Specification - Drupal Project Manager
We are looking for an experienced project manager who has the following knowledge, skills and experience:
1. Essential - Project managed the design, build and implementation of at least one corporate intranet.
Essential - Delivering web solutions using Drupal and associated tools (PHP, mySQL).
Required - Co-ordinating content management and content management owners. We will be requiring the business units within the Council to take responsibility for their content on the intranet. We expect this PM role to establish the design and process framework for this. This role will not be responsible for producing the content.
Essential - Working with an external development organization through their nominated project manager to deliver the physical build of the Intranet.
Desirable - Use of Agile processes
Desirable - Prince II qualified
