This long established client is actively looking to recruit a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with expertise in C#, ASP.net 3.5 / 4.0, SQL Server 2008, TSQL and ideally web services, MVC and N-Tier Development.
This is a hands on software development role that has arisen because my client is about to embark on a full system replacement. This project is anticipated to take about 3 years and will result in a holistic and streamlined bespoke modular system being built from the ground up. It is therefore an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced Software Developer to work on a project from inception through to completion. This is a permanent role so after the system replacement has been completed your role will be maintenance and continuous development based.
As this is a full systems replacement project therefore you must have experience of large scale system migrations and parallel running. This is a 24/7 business and it is imperative that the project runs smoothly. Reporting to the Development Team Leader and Project Manager your responsibilities will include gathering requirements, producing technical specifications, developing the solution, ensuring all development is unit tested, providing input to release plans and project management methodology.
This is an exciting opportunity working for a rapidly growing organisation where you will have a genuine input into the design and development of business critical applications. You will have experience in the full life cycle of the development process. You must be a confident communicator able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at a variety of levels.
