Analyst Developer working very closely with the Crude and Products desk in a Desk development role. The applicant is required to be able to form strong relationships with the traders and analysts on the desk across all regions.
It is essential to have a good understanding of the commodities business and specifically of the crude markets and derivatives. The applicant needs to be a highly motivated self starter.
The role requires an individual with a lot of initiative who can help improve the current applications by themselves and help guide the desk towards a better suite of products.
Experience of Excel, VBA, C#, SQL Server and .NET WinForm applications is essential for this role. Experience of scripting languages like Python and JavaScript is also desirable.
