My client is a large Online and Data driven business, who have a large number of customers who they need to contact and communicate with/to on a weekly basis. As a result, they are looking for someone who can come in and help design communication solutions which will target and reach the desired group of customers.
These solutions will take the form of email shots, PDFs, online banners and letters. We are looking for someone who can support all elements of customer engagement.
We are looking for someone who has excellent understanding of document composition (ideally GMC PrintNet or Inspire Designer), a background in batch emailing applications like StrongMail; experience in creating customer communications; knowledge of HTML with regard to email (web development not required); any knowledge of XML, SQL, Javascript would be good.
You will be used to sitting down with Senior members of the business to list down what they need going out to customers, what messages, what offers, what content and then you will need to be able to create these documents and emails, make sure they are set up on the system correctly, make sure they look correct, test them, then see them all the way through to launch.
You will have a keen eye for detail and maybe a Data processing background. You will be cross trained in other technologies to help increase your skills.
