Linux Engineer required urgently for Tier 1 Investment Bank based in London. The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
* Deep knowledge of Linux (RHEL3-6) and Solaris (8-10) operating systems and hardware, including shell scripting
* Good working knowledge of AIX and HpUX and associated hardware platforms
* Expert level Veritas Volume Manager and Veritas Cluster Server
* SAN migration experience (preferably EMC DMX3 .VMAX and Hitachi USPV)
* Experience with server HBA stack, driver, firmware, patching (Emulex / Qlogic)
* Knowledge of NFS / NAS and NIS / automount
* Confidence working on critical trading platforms
* Meticulous organisation and attention to detail
* Strong communication & team building skills
* Delivery focussed
