The Senior IT Engineer will be responsible for support of our corporate global IT infrastructure in the UK and India. The infrastructure includes; email, file & print, security and intranet services using Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, Sophos End Point Security, SCCM, Atlassian's Confluence and Jira. The successful candidate will be a "jack of all trades" who is proficient in multiple infrastructure hardware and software technologies and enjoys working closely with end users. They will need to enjoy the BAU management aspects of the role as well as contributing to innovations that will contribute to the extension of our internal cloud platform.Implementation and support of corporate IT environments.· 5+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft technology in particular: · Windows XP, 7 and 8· Active Directory 2008· SCCM 2007 & 2012· Office 2010· Security Experience:§ Sophos End Point Protection or equivalent § Sophos Safe Guard or equivalent§ CryptoCard two factor authentication§ Cisco VPN client configuration· Strong working knowledge of laptop hardware, ideally IBM Lenovo.· Strong working knowledge of networks, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, including LAN, WAN and wireless network setup.![]()
