Database Administrator / SQL DBA - £40-45K - (SQL SERVER 2000/2005/2008, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, T-SQL, Backup / Restore Technologies, Replication) to work for my leading Software company based in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a Database Administrator / SQL DBA to be accountable for the creation, maintenance, security and recoverability of operational and business system databases. To apply the chosen candidate must have:
-Experience of administering databases in a 24x7 SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 production environment.
-Basic understanding of database design, T-SQL, backup/restore technologies, replication, SSIS, MSDTC, full-text and security.
-Experience of working in an IT best practice environment with familiarity with Change, Incident and Problem Management within the ITIL Framework.
-Ability to handle multiple projects and manage conflicting priorities.
