2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer (Windows XP to Windows 7 migration) - London - Media
2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer required by my Media client in West London to support a migration from Windows XP to Windows 7.The successful candidate will work with the application owners and a 3rd party in design, test and support for the migration process from XP to Windows 7. Once the final process has been signed off the candidate will provide technical support to the deployment engineers working in remote offices to replace users machines.In order to be successful the candidate will need to have experience of working in large platform migration projects (preferably W7); providing 2nd and 3rd line support; working in an ITIL environment as well as knowledge of Active Directory (users and computers), Group Policy, Machine Auditing and Baselining and experience of working with SCCM 2007.
Any experience of working with Citrix and App-V products as well as experience of owrking in a Media environment would be advantageous but is not essential.![]()
