Job description:

Senior Middleware Engineer responsible for the engineering, design and integration of middleware infrastructure technology.
Provide subject matter expertise around middleware and messaging technologies.
Provide project management for the deployment of infrastructure projects.
Act as vendor interface and engineering support for applications and technologies.

Key objectives critical to success:
Middleware :
-Strategic design, enhancement, for enterprise applications supporting trading and client services
-Perform implementation, maintenance, remediation, and troubleshooting services for enterprise applications supporting trading and client services
-Develop standards and deployment methodologies
-Propose, design, and implement enhancements and additions to current environment
-Develop application maintenance standards and procedures
-Mentor fellow engineers on technical issues, standards and procedures

Skills:

-Market data experience
-End-to-end understanding of systems development life cycle methodology
-Middleware design and analysis
-JEE Application servers: WebSphere, Weblogic,
-JMS, IBM MQ desirable
-Tibco (EMS/RVRD) and Hawk
-Linux Red Hat, VMWare and SUN Solaris
-TCP/IP networks and multicast
