Management Information Developer - fixed-term contract (9 months) - up to £33K - starting July 2013
Dynamic company based in Spinningfields is seeking an MI Developer to join their IT Team to introduce new technologies, ideas and solutions to improve the business and development strategies.The ideal candidate must have strong analytical and problem solving abilities and be client focused and support orientated.
Role Requirements:
·Define and create robust services around MI and BI
·Understand all the data that the business holds and create sustainable reporting solutions
·Building and testing MI solutions, and creating finished MI reports
·Carry out analysis into business requirements and document appropriately
·SQL Query optimisation using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools to ensure fast query responses
·Assist in the preparation and documentation of software requirements and specifications.
·Designing, coding and debugging MI and BI solutions in various software languages.
·Perform software analysis on applications and design software around end users needs
·Develop existing solutions by analysing and identifying areas for modification
·Testing new solutions, fault finding and diagnosing
The Position requires Technical experience gained from a minimum of 2 years hands-on development in:
·SSRS
·SQL Server 2005/2008
·T-SQL
