An ambitious firm based in the heart of Manchester is looking for a Prince 2 certified project manager to plan, prioritise, organise, and manage project resources and the facilitation of projects allocated to the Insurance Services Project Portfolio. In addition, the candidate will also be required to conduct Business Analysis and Project Support co-ordination for their own projects. Some Project Catalogue/Portfolio co-ordination may be required at times.
The ideal candidate will also have good leadership and organisational skills, ability to prioritise effectively, be self-motivated and self-directed with an ability to prioritise and execute tasks independently.
Experience in managing numerous full lifecycle concurrent projects is essential.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a project management/project lead role, within a professional services organisation, legal or insurance experience is desirable. It is also necessary to have a sound understanding of technology, and a detailed understanding of application development and implementation life cycles.
