My Manchester based client is looking for a Technical Specialist. The purpose of this role is to: * Lead or assist in technical projects* Provide secondary support for European server systems* Server application technical support EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - A balanced mix of business and technical skills Expertise in a broad range of ICT technology Knowledge of systems integration and infrastructure design Technical support and security IT project management / good knowledge of the full project life cycle Getting things done across team and organisation boundaries Strong technical implementation background with either packaged or custom application systems.Good experience of desktop technologies, Microsoft software packages.Knowledge of Service Management systems from an IT IL perspective.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (maximum of 10)1. To lead or assist in technical projects , including systems analysis, design, implementation, configuration and assoced tasks, as allocated, for the development, enhancement and support of new requirements.2. To report regularly to relevant senior staff, both formally and informally, on all matters affecting the achievement of project plans.3. To ensure compliance with department and company policies and strategies.4. To assist in identifying business and technical requirements for any MIS project and / or service.5.
