Test Analyst

A well-established Harvey Nash client, a prestigious retail organisation based in Leicester, are looking for a Test Analyst to start ASAP.

They are looking for somebody to work on a Greenfield re-platforming websphere project, initially on a six month contract. However, there is chance of extension due to the size and nature of the work being carried out.

Please see below for a brief outline of the requirements for the role:

Essential

Basic Unix commandline skills
Basic ability to handcraft SQL
Basic ability to handcraft xml
Understanding of OO concepts (.net or java)
Understanding of what makes good automated tests
Evidence of using any automated test tool in a continuous integration environment
Evidence of using any source control tool to manage script versioning

Desirable

Evidence of using any XP techniques
Cucumber or any BDD tool
Selenium/Webdriver experience
Using an IDE
Working with websphere commerce
Knowledge of retail
