My client is a successful growing Software company who specialise in developing Software and packaged applications for the Utilities industry. They are a Microsoft Partner and specialise in using the latest Microsoft & .NET technologies.
They are now looking for someone who join their Support and Development team, supporting their Enterprise class package product implementations, at medium & large Utilities companies.
As a Support Analyst Developer you will be required to undertake both Support duties (bug/issue investigation) and also Development duties (bug fixing, change requests and patch releasing) of their core products and client specific implementation code & reports.
This is a varied role and requires someone technical, who can get involved with the full life cycle of application development, documenting requirements, creating change requests, producing solution design documents, responding to support tickets, investigating issues, analysing reasons for the problems.
This is a customer facing role where you will talk through system requirements, demonstrate how systems work and then communicate options to both customers and the internal team.
Technical skills you must have are a fair capability in ASP.NET & C# Development/Programming/Support, some HTML, and SQL Server knowledge would be good. You will be comfortable working in an all round role involving Development, Support and even some Administration, as well as the client facing duties.
This is a good role to really progress into a Consultant role or a Senior Systems role.
Based in Solihull, just off the M42 on a Business Park, the role is offering a salary of between £25,000 - £32,000 plus benefits.![]()
