Our Dorset based client is a leading UK retail organisation they have an immediate and urgent requirement for an experienced support analyst to join them on a permanent basis.
The candidate we are seeking for this position will provide support and maintenance to our clients and business critical systems. You will support users, provide detailed trouble shooting and analysis to incidents that are escalated to 3rd line level, investigate and resolve application issues and advise users on the functionality of core applications. The candidates we are seeking for these roles will have worked as part of a similar application support team or service desk, you will have in-depth web applications (.Net, we services, IIS 6) and database structures such as SQL Server 2005 and experience of supporting applications based on this technology. Knowledge of scripting is beneficial as is awareness around reporting services/business objects. You will be analytical and have the ability to investigate and identify the cause of user problems and issues. Experience and knowledge of database structures is advantageous.
This is a permanent position paying £25,000- £32,000 plus good benefits package and excellent training opportunities.
