MI Analyst/Developer
The client: One of the Uks Leading Motor Bike Insurers.
Location: Manchester Area
The role: 12 month FTC with possible permanent opportunities and progression along the way.
You would be part of the MI team reporting to the MI Team Lead.
Responsibilities include:
· Assist MI developer in building and testing MI solutions
· Fault finding - diagnosing and resolving issues with existing MI solutions
· Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved.
· Participate in the analysis of trends and common issues to prevent future problems
· Understand all the data that the business holds and assist in the creation of sustainable reporting solutions
· Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates.
Communicate problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users, and unit leaders
The Position requires Technical experience in:
· T-SQL · SQL Server 2005/2008
· SSRS
Familiarity with the following methodologies and technologies is highly desirable:
· Reporting Toolkits (Reporting Objects/Crystal Reports, QLIKVIEW etc)
· Data Analysis · Data Warehousing
· SSIS · RAD, Agile software development
