Junior Content Manager - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (with a view to go perm)
Up to £26,000 pro rata (flexible)

Reporting to the Content Manager, you will plan, coordinate and execute an engaging and compelling content plan - across website, marketing and social media channels.The role will include organising content, checking SEO suitability, contributing to the content management strategy and managing elements of the translation process. Close relationships will be with the graphic designer teams. You will also contribute to the creation of acquisition - textual, verbal and audio content etc.
Key responsibilities for the role include:
* Coordinating and executing compelling content for website, marketing and social media plan.
* Developing and updating an inspiring content plan that maximises key strategy / objectives set and is commercial focuses in a compelling and interesting way.
* Driving the end to end delivery of the content plan in terms of the execution, maximising the use of existing assets and planning additional requirements.
* Exploiting the content by tailoring and positioning it in a relevant and interesting format across the website and marketing channels e.g. videos, emails, Facebook, Pinterest e.t.c. Key skills and experience required to apply:
* A proven track record of planning and delivering credible online content, within a fast paced, compliance/regulatory landscape. Experience within the financial services sector is desirable and experience focused around the developing and uploading of content via CMS is essential. Approx 2-3 years-experience needed.
* Knowledge of online marketing channels, particularly brand building.
* Strong creative eye, excellent copywriting skills.
* Commercial understanding of the online market place.
* Passion and knowledge about social media channels, with a desire to keep on top of new channels to deliver for the brand.
* Self-starter used to managing projects in house rather than agency management.
· The successful candidate will be a bright, proactive and motivated individual who has the ability to trouble- shoot. A problem solver, someone who thinks out- side of the box. Ability to collaborate and fit into a strong team is essential.
