Reporting to the IT manager, you will lead technical teams focused on design solutions, mentoring, reviewing the legacy technologies and introducing new technologies. You must be a an independent and solution driven individual as well as being somebody who has a real passion for problem solving. You must also be a dynamic team player as well as being somebody who can confidently communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.
Critical requirements:
Knowledge
Strong leadership skills with experience of shaping, motivating and driving change within an IS environment.
In-depth knowledge of software engineering principles and software development methodologies - waterfall, Iterative and Agile.
Understanding of data management principles.
Skills
Strong leadership skills.
Experience of design tools.
Influence technical decisions across multiple stakeholders.
Understanding of current application systems and how they interact.
Experience
Experience of designing software product developments.
Background is software development and programming.
Object-Orientated programming techniques.
Visual Studio, Oracle, SQL Server , BizTalk, XMl, FTP.
