Project Manager - Milton Keynes

My client, a high profile oil & gas company, is looking for a Project Manager to join their team in Milton Keynes to work on an existing project that is in execute phase.

They require the incumbent to engage with 6 point of sale vendors to integrate new credit terminals to various petrol sites.

The PM needs to have a solid understanding of Waterfall project delivery methods and worked in the retails market.

It would be of great benefit to have a good understanding of card payment, POS (point of sale) systems, and back office and card processing.

Role Specific Criteria:
- Managing capabilities and resources in response to changing business dynamics;
- Defining and monitoring policies and procedures;
- Managing the relationship with the client and other suppliers and leading program governance;
- Implementing the quality program;
- Acting as escalation point for issue resolution;
- Ensuring delivery to the project plan and budget;
- Providing effective interface with the highest levels within the client organizations and bringing strategic value to the relationship;
- Maintaining service levels in accordance with project SLAs;
- Ensuring appropriate standards and quality are maintained;
- Providing full project reporting;
- Deliver project according to agreed standards;
- Manage project team activities to deliver on agreed targets and budget;
- Communicate and coordinate day-to-day project activities within the project team and assure that priorities are developed and known;
- Assure that project milestones / targets are clearly communicated understood within and outside the project such that the appropriate parties can marshal resources and activities to align with project delivery;
- Record and report project progress as agreed with line management and stakeholders;
- PMI Certification required;
