Application / Front - end Developer - HTML / XML / CSS
My prestigious client in Birmingham who is a leading organisation in its industry is looking for a permanent Applications / Front-end Developer. Exposure to HTML, XML and CSS is essential. Any exposure to classic ASP and Javascript would be extremely advantageous but not essential. Awareness of MS SQL / T - SQL, SQL Server, MS SharePoint and MS Visual Source Safe. Ideal candidate must be a strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills.
Some of the daily duties / responsibilities are as follows:
·Assist with all aspects of ensuring availability, performance and configuration of the applications that support the business processes
·Assist with troubleshooting and problem solving of the applications and associated webpages and design.
·Assist with design, branding, development and support.
·Implementation testing and release according to agreed timescales and costs of; application upgrades, Service patches, website code changes and implementation of new applications and services
·Manage the gathering, coding, testing and production of XML feeds on the websites.
·Liaison with MI team assist with management and development of Google Analytics implementation and other data collection systems.
