Within this key role as Learning & Development Manager you will be given the opportunity to develop and drive Development strategy, with a key focus on Management, Leadership and Business Skills initiatives. Based at Head Office as part of the L&D and wider HR team, you will take responsibility for the delivery of a full and comprehensive L&D service across a nationwide business through the effective management of your team of L&D Advisors
Key Focus Areas
* Working with the Head of L&D, develop effective L&D strategies and processes that drive a high performance culture
* Lead your L&D team effectively to ensure high service delivery levels and that the Training calendar meets development and business needs, at the right time and pace
* Develop, maintain and optimise strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
* Work closely with various business divisions and HR colleagues to understand potential business changes and plan Development activity accordingly
* Business Partner stakeholders to fully understand individual and departmental needs and tailor interventions accordingly where needed
* Undertake Management Development and Leadership coaching
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Degree calibre and ideally CIPD qualified
* Current or recent experience of a similar L&D role
* Experience of leading large teams
* Strengths in OD, management development, talent and succession planning
* Experience of driving high performing cultures within complex businesses that regularly experience change
* High degree of credibility with evidence of influencing change and forging strong working relationships
