Business Analyst-OTC Regulatory Reporting

Business Analyst - OTC Regulatory Reporting sought by leading Investment Bank based in the city of London.

* Solid experience documenting business requirements
* Strong analytical skills and writing skills, to include solid experience in writing functional and technical specifications
* Experience working closely with IT Project managers and development teams both FO and BO
* Proven experience of setting up test scenarios
* Ability to focus on high quality work while under pressure
* Proven knowledge in one or more banking application/functions.
* Knowledge of financial products/derivatives
* Knowledge and understanding of front office systems
* Experience of understanding financial business problems and defining logical solutions
* Practical experience of defining business solutions to a level that development teams can develop from
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
* Ability to quickly gain an understanding of the in-house systems, which is not fully documented
* Ability to work as part of a team, to multi-task and work to tight timescales
* Ability to understand and adhere to local IT & project standards
* Practical experience in formalised, structured testing
* Ability to investigate causes of defects at a technical and business level
* Excellent negotiation skills
* Experience of detailed testing of financial systems.
* Planning and time management skills
* Ability to work in a team
* Proven experience in similar projects

Desirable:
* Experience with OTC Products and operations.
* Experience on regulatory/trade reporting environment
* Familiarity with Dodd-Frank and EMIR regulations.
