Lead SAP HR Consultant - SAP, HR, Manager, Lead, Senior, Functional, Analyst
My Client, a leading Oil and Gas organisation is currently looking for a Lead SAP HR Consultant to be responsible for the solution design of SAP HR.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assists in estimating, planning and staffing for small projects (2-4 months) and / or a wave programme (1-2 years).
· Leads and supports Solution Analysts and Analysts to deliver the solution design, configuration and customization of a system to meet the business process design and business requirements.
· Supports the Business Process Team and the Business Stakeholders to validate business requirements in order to drive common process and functional solutions globally.
· Supports the development of an application prototype and conduct a conference room pilot to validate the configuration design and explore fit / gap resolution options.
· Complete the associated solution design document including the Configuration Rationale documentation.
· Enter the configuration into the "gold” or master configuration client and prepare it for migration and transport to the next environment(s) as defined in the system landscape.
· Participates in testing, including unit test, assembly test and system test.
· Complete all appropriate documentation required by the testers, deployment team and application support team.
· Provide subject matter expertise for the deployment and cutover teams on how data drives business processes and MI reports.
Key Skills:
· Extensive knowledge of SAP HR systems for the Oil and Gas Industry coupled with excellent process area knowledge
· Proven systems delivery and /or design knowledge in more than one SAP module
· SAP implementation experience of at least 3 full life cycle SAP projects with a global footprint
· Strong business process knowledge and experience of the HR process area
· SAP Functional Knowledge and SAP configuration skills in the process area and associated modules
· Ability to identify options to enhance SAP standard functionality e.g. User Exits when appropriate
· Management best practice for SAP configuration and deployment in the process area
· Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams
· Ability to create excellent working relationships - specifically Projects, Application Support and the non-SAP application owners
· Ability to demonstrate where peers/leadership were influenced to achieve strategic goals
Desirable Skills:
· Project Management experience
· Team leadership / coordination experience
· Strong understanding of the HR global template and GST Light template
