Infrastructure Specialist (VMware/Networking) - Media/Broadcasting
My london based media/broadcasting client is looking for an IT Infrastructure SME to provide technical analysis and advice on technology to how IT and Telephony strand of the business. You will be responsible for timely preparation and presentation of appropriate analysis, positioning papers and making technical recommendations. The SME will work with third parties and validate the server discovery exercise and the translation of results into a credible service based migration plan based on appropriate mix of P2V, P2P, lift and shift and suitable swing kit. You will validate the clients SAN proposal to ensure a seamless move of the stored data and service transition.
The ideal candidate must have experience of migration of business critical IT and media systems including services heavily dependant on networking such as Oracle, Jboss, Java and Web. You must have VMware, Zen and designing experience of solutions to provide continuous operation during service migrations.![]()
