A market leading highly transactional pure play business with offices in Manchester is looking to appoint an Interim Director of IT Development exclusively with Harvey Nash to lead a talented and passionate team of Developers, Business Analysts and Testers.
To be considered for this high profile appointment it is essential that you have demonstrable experience leading large scale teams, focused predominately around TDD, continuous integration & Kanban/lean approaches in development and design. Further to this it is essential that you have had a successful career focused in ecommerce, web, online environments leading teams in either pure play or multi-channel environments having successfully reduced technical deb and legacy, redeveloped websites and refactored the code base to ensure the continued success of your respective online business.
The role will see the successful candidate looking at assessing the current technology platform, making recommendations and suggestions on improvements to the website and best approach moving forward, then successfully delivering upon your recommendations. As an approachable and confident leader you will interact at boardroom through to technical experts in C#.Net, ASP.Net etc and as such it is imperative that you are able to converse at all levels from boardroom to baseroom to be successful in this role
