You will join our banking risk team as a Credit Risk Analyst and work for the benefit of our members and customers. You will use your experience gained in a credit risk environment to identify improvements to credit policies and strategy, and also coach and mentor colleagues to support their ongoing development. Deputising for management and driving forward strategic improvements which effectively control the bad debt and capital position of the organisation. You will use your expertise and experience to contribute to decisions which will inform and shape our credit policy.
To do this successfully you will need to have the following skills and experience:
· Educated to degree level in an analytical discipline.
· Significant experience of developing and producing analytical reports using Microsoft Office products.
· Extensive experience of credit risk management analytical techniques and practices gained in a credit risk environment.
· Extensive experience of SAS programming.
· Strong understanding of commercial, financial and legislative requirements and issues affecting the wider industry.
· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
· Strong stakeholder management ability.
