HR Administrator - Payroll Support

A successful, well established, customer focused organisation is currently recruiting a HR Administrator who is highly efficient and accurate in providing payroll support. The HR administrator/payroll support will work as part of a highly energetic HR team in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Key Accountabilities:
· Working as part of a team, the HR Administrator/ Payroll Support will provide a high quality payroll administrative service, including training as required
· Effectively respond to, and resolve payroll queries in line with HR policies and procedures
· Provide managers and staff with clear guidance and advice to ensure compliance with group policy and relevant legislation
· Interpret HR policies and procedures in the advice that you give and interpret them in an accurate manner
· Recommend changes to processes aimed at improving team performance
· Complete, maintain and monitor accurate employee records to ensure staff are paid, and receive benefits in accordance with contractual entitlements
· Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to ensure excellent customer service is consistently delivered
· Ensure health and safety working conditions are promoted within your area of responsibility

Key Attributes & Characteristics:
· Certificate in Personnel Practice or equivalent is desirable
· Experience of working in an administrative support or customer service role
· Knowledge of current HR legislation and good practice principles
· Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills
