Business Continuity Specialist - Uxbridge
My client, a high profile oil & gas company, is looking for a Business Continuity Specialist to join their team in Uxbridge.
Job Description:
Participate with the central team in developing the BCMS in line with ISO22301 / BS25999 and internal standards.
Understand the requirement and develop artefacts that will meet the needs of the business in line with the requirements of the standards.
Assist in the development of the refreshed BCMS collateral.
Update all existing plans into the new BCP templates and supporting plans.
Create / refresh the BIA's and Risk assessment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Establish and implement the BCMS, including the processes needed and their interactions.
Develop artefacts for the setup of the BCMS and to providing auditable evidence.
Assist business units with:
Assess the impacts over time on the business processes.
Coordinate business continuity plan exercises.
Develop training / awareness for stakeholders and assist in the delivery of these training activities.
Accountability to ensure the BCP's are maintained, exercised, and audited to ensure effectiveness and compliance to the internal and ISO standards.
Ensure monthly updates to the BC Dashboards for consumption by senior management.
Key Skills:
Associate Member (AMBCI)
ISO22301 or BS25999 - hands on experience / certified.
ITIL Foundation
Must be a self-starter and a productive team player.
Strong administrative skills
Preferred Background:
Top tier IT Service organisation.
