Senior PMO Analyst, PMO Analyst, Project Support Analyst, Sheffield, South Yorkshire

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior PMO Analyst for a company based in Sheffield supporting the business change function.
A key part of the role will be to support the large/ key projects and programmes by providing advanced planning support during project initiation and facilitating initiation workshops to deliver key project control documents.

Essential criteria:
·Experience of collaborating with a Project Manager in pulling together project plans from scratch i.e. identifying deliverables with work stream leads or equivalent, confirming ownership and pulling together into a project plan.
·Experience of tracking progress against base lined plan and flagging expectations to the Project Manager, explaining the impact of slippage and ensuring there is a recovery action to address this.
·Risk and Issue management experience. Collating, tracking and reporting risks and issues ensuring escalations are raised at the appropriate level.
·Financial tracking including producing, tracking and re-forecasting in conjunction with the Project Manager.
·Experience of administering the Change Control process.
·Producing project reports including experience of producing highlight and project board reports.
·2 + years' experience in working in a PMO position.
·Project planning experience.

Responsibilities:
·Facilitation of planning workshops for large sized projects ensuring product breakdown structures and work breakdown structures are produced.
·Production of Milestone Reports for large sized Projects ensuring that Risks/Issues are raised to explain Slipped/Missed milestones with resolutions for recovery.
·Maintenance of the Project Plan for Large Projects ensuring work stream updates are co-ordinated and slippage is flagged to the Project Manager with recommendations for resolution.
·Facilitation of Risk Workshops for Large sized Projects, ensuring cause and effect is captured, mitigations and owners agreed.
·Maintenance of the Risks and Issues Log for large projects ensuring risks are updated weekly and major risks/issues are flagged to the Project Manager with recommendations for resolution.
·Maintenance of the Finance Tracker for Large Projects keeping actuals and forecast up to date, ensuring spend variances are raised to the Project Manager with recommendations for recovery and reforecast.
·Establish Change Control Process for Large Projects and communicate this process to Project members providing training where required.
·Establish Document Control Process and Library structure for Large Projects and communicate this process to Project members providing training where required.
·Co-ordination and production of Project Reports for Large Projects including Business Change Report, Project Board and Steering Group Reports.

Key skills:
·Excellent I.T literacy, specifically experience of using all MS Office packages relevant to the role including MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word and SharePoint.

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000
