HR Advisor

An organisation with a national presence, my client is currently looking to recruit a HR Advisor. Working within HR Operations, the HR Advisor will provide effective and accurate HR support to line managers and high profile cliental.
Key Accountabilities:
* Provide escalated HR Advice in to all generalist HR areas
* Advise, influence and coach line managers on how to precede with low risk ER cases, always ensuring compliance with employment law
* Develop individual competence within the HR Operations Teams by providing coaching on policies & procedures
* Ensure all queries and requests are dealt with in an effective, accurate and efficient manner in line with the procedural framework and service standards
* Provide hands on support to the HR helpdesk during busy periods to offer first line HR advice to a large volume of internal customers.
Key Experience & Attributes:
* CIPD qualified or equivalent
* Previous experience working for high profile, commercial organisations is desirable
* Strong quality orientation, showing awareness of goals and standards, following through to ensure that quality and productivity standards are met
* Demonstrate a readiness to make decisions, taking initiative and originating action
* Good working knowledge of current employment law
* Experience of working in a fast-paced, demanding shared service centre is desirable
