Business Analyst - Leeds, West Yorkshire -Salary dependent upon experience
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst to join a modern, forward thinking consultancy in Leeds city centre. You will have responsibility for the day-to-day operation of assigned software projects both in a consultancy capacity at Client sites and also across internal projects. You will elicit and gather requirements across change management, UAT/OAT test practices.
The role will also expose you managing a small team of staff, and will also require infrequent travel to Clients' sites across the UK. The successful candidate must be prepared to travel. The role will involve assisting the management team in their continual improvement of processes. There will be occasions where you will be working alone, as well as working collaboratively to identify and resolve issues within challenging project environments whilst forging and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
The organisation is looking for somebody with a breadth of experience, ideally in Client facing environments for the wide variety of challenging and exciting Client requirements.This role will be responsible for high-level engagement with the company's clients, so a professional and engaging individual is highly sought after.
Requirements
· Excellent Business Analysis and requirements gathering and management skills
· Experience in IT delivery, ideally within the service industry
· Knowledge of structured project delivery methodologies (SCRUM, XP, DSDM, RUP, PRINCE etc.)
· Business Process Analysis / Re-engineering including GAP analysis, As-is/To-be.
· Exposure to ERP, CRM and other enterprise wide business systems
· A self-starter with excellent communication skills both to developers and senior management, as well technical and non-technical staff.
· Rigorous attention to detail
· A proactive problem solverExperience
· Exposure to software delivery projects within a variety of sectors, including large scale / enterprise projects
· Confident when speaking with stakeholders about the details of business analysis activities across the full lifecycle, demonstrating your role in producing associated artefacts
· An strong background in Business Analysis for blue chip clients, with the ability to draw upon extensive practical experience of applying requirements management techniques from a range of delivery methodologies to deliver pragmatic solutions to clients.![]()
