Harvey Nash is working in close partnership with a well known household brand based in Central Leeds. This reputable organisation is looking to recruit a talented PHP Software Engineer.
You will have a proven software engineer background and will have worked on web application development in the past. You will be used to working in an MVC environment and enterprise level applications in PHP. This client works in an agile development environment including scrum, XP and TDD - ideally you will have experience of working within this framework but it is not essential.
You will have strong communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholder. You will have worked in large teams and be used to a test driven environment. You will be comfortable testing your own applications and must be aware of automated testing. You will be security conscious and have a good awareness of security - large errors can cost money. You will be performance focused when writing code and will enjoy working on high volume / high traffic websites. You will be passionate about PHP Development and keen to progress your career in a fast paced & professional environment.
