My cleint based in Nottinghamshire has released a requirment for a Linux Systems Engineer, on a permanent basis, to work within their large technological fucntion.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all systems and servers are preforming to expected standards and may be asked to lead the operation at times.
Before applying, you will need extensive experience of designing/configuring Linux and UNIX solutions.
Relevent Technical experience in the following is required:
Redhat/ Linux
HP-UXEMC/Cisco SAN storage devices
VMWare and Virtualisation Technologies (HP IVM)
Linux and UNIX Clustering
Desirable skill set:
Cisco UCS
Disaster Recovery Techniques
Vmware (ESX 3.5/ 4.1 , 5)
Exposure to structured or process based delivery methodologies
