Application Analyst
Client: Very large Social Housing Organisation in Newcastle
Salary: Up to £34,500 depending on experience
The Role: Perform generic application management activities throughout the service lifecycle, including design, transition, operation and improvement. Help ensure that all IS applications are well-designed, highly resilient and cost effective, and that the required functionality is available to support the organisations business processes and achieve the required business outcomes.
· Support the change management process where reliance on application knowledge and expertise may be needed to evaluate and implement changes, and assist with the deployment of application releases.
· Participate in projects, not only during service design and service transition, but also for CSI or operational projects, such as application upgrades or patches.
· Produce application architectures and performance standards for IS services.
· Perform cost-benefit analysis to determine the most appropriate means to meet stated business and IS requirements.
· Participate in the design and development of new IS services. Ensure the design of the application architecture and performance standards for IS services including application sizing and performance modelling.
Ideally you will have ITIL V3 certification.
