.NET Developer - VB.NET, ASP.NET C# SQL HTML JavaScript API SharePoint SaaS Cloud
Our client, a rapidly growing cloud solutions business who are dominating the cutting-edge Cloud Services market is entering a period of exciting, rapid expansion. They are looking to expand their development team and are seeking an experienced .NET Developer to be based out of their Oxford HQ.
The role will suit a flexible individual that is interested in managing a full and varied development program including, web based provisioning, orchestration and automation systems, management and monitoring of their Public and Private Cloud offerings, from the Data centre hardware and networking stack through to the customer provisioning layer, as well as designing and implementing incremental developments to the service in this fast moving area of IT.
Essential Skills
*Proven track record developing with Visual Studio, VB.net, ASP.NET, C#, MS SQL, HTML.
*Strong background in advanced scripting with JavaScript, PowerShell, XML etc.
*Experience of working with XML and web based API’s.
*Good experience in Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server, Sharepoint, CRM, Exchange.
*Knowledge of cloud technologies; public, private & multi-tenant clouds, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS as well as cloud service provision.
*A team player, with the ability to lead and work independently with good written skills, including writing technical guides and documentation.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills, showing an ability to communicate with a range of contacts from users to Director level.
Desirable Skills
*Experience of orchestration and provisioning systems such as Altiris, Microsoft System Centre Orchestrator, Cloupia, EMC Cortex, Citrix Cloud Portal, Cloud Stack etc.
*Experience of other web based and object orientated programming languages such as PHP, Ruby, Rails etc.
*Experience with setup automation, such as silent installs, MSI packaging.
*Knowledge of Citrix environments is desirable
*Keen interest in future technologies and a capability to devise and develop new technologies and innovations.
